STATEN ISLAND — An indie wrestler who recently tried out for the WWE was arrested for posting child porn online, prosecutors said.

James "Rude Boy" Riley, 25, of Arden Heights, was arrested Wednesday when officers found he shared and stored pornographic photographs of children less than 16 years old, according to his criminal complaint.

Some of the photos he shared were of infants and he kept at least ten of them on his phone, which officers found when they arrested him, according to the New York Post and his complaint.

From 2014 to 2016, Riley posted at least 10 photos of children under 16 to his Tumblr and Google accounts, prosecutors said.

Riley is a 6-foot-1, 208 pound professional wrestler who worked for several independent promotions including Five Borough Wrestling and Staten Island-based Warriors of Wrestling, according to his bio. He also worked as a trainer for Orange Theory Fitness in New Springville.

He landed a tryout with the WWE at their performance center in Florida in February, according to his website.

Since his arrest, several promotions that worked with him announced online that they have dropped him as a wrestler for shows.

Riley was charged with 10 counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child and 20 counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child at his arraignment, the Staten Island District Attorney's office said.

His bail was set at $3,500 and he's due back in court on May 15.

Riley's lawyer did not want to comment for this story.
