EAST WILLIAMSBURG — A Greenpoint high school student raped and strangled his teenage girlfriend on the roof of her building then warned her not to tell police, officials said.

The attack started inside the 16-year-old girl's East Williamsburg apartment building near Graham Avenue, according to police.

The victim and her boyfriend, whose name is being withheld to avoid identifying the victim, were hanging out on March 11 at 10 p.m. when the suspect told her to go upstairs. When the girl refused, her boyfriend covered her mouth, picked her up and carried her to building's roof, police said.

There he started sexually assaulting the teen while she begged him to stop, pushed her up against a wall and choked her, police said.

“Stay still. Take it,” he told the girl, police said.

The teen girl broke down in tears and the boyfriend warned her not to tell anyone about what had happened, police said.

Four days after the attack, police cuffed the boyfriend, a student at Automotive High School in Greenpoint, according to police and court records show. Prosecutors charged him with a criminal sex act, sex abuse and other charges.

He paid $1,500 bail and was released. He's due back in court on Sept. 29, court records show. His Brooklyn Defender attorney didn't respond to a request for comment immediately.
