MIDTOWN SOUTH — A two-floor Target with self-checkout lanes, a grocery market and a place to pick up online orders is opening in Herald Square.

The big-box retailer plans to open a 43,000-square-foot outpost at 112 W. 34th St., between Broadway and Seventh Avenue, in October.

“The addition of the Herald Square store location is exciting for Target as we expand our footprint with small-format stores in Manhattan,” Target senior vice president of properties Mark Schindele said in a statement.

The retailer also plans to open stores in the East Village and Hell’s Kitchen.

The Herald Square outpost — which will anchor a retail complex with a Sephora and a Foot Locker — will feature a “grab-and-go” food-and-drink area near its West 33rd Street entrance, the store said.

It will also sell items including stationery, home goods, clothing and health and beauty items, as well as having an on-site CVS pharmacy.

In January, Target opened a 125,000-square-foot "flexible format" store in Downtown Brooklyn.
