THE BRONX — Police have released video of a man they say shot into a taxi and a nearby building, leaving three people injured in Fordham Thursday afternoon.

The suspect, who remains on the lam, shot a 23-year-old man and 21-year-old woman in the torso at point-blank range while they sat inside a cab at East 183rd Street and Creston Avenue about 3:50 p.m., officials said.

The suspect also shot a 28-year-old man, who was inside 124 East 183rd St., in the chest, police said. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.

He is described as 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, 180 pounds and between 30 and 40 years old, police said. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, gray pants and black sneakers, according to surveillance footage released Friday.

All three victims were expected to survive, police said.

A motive for the shooting was unclear as of Friday afternoon.
