BROOKLYN — A  group of attackers brutally beat a man who offered to pay for their meal at a Flatbush fast-food joint, police said.

The 37-year-old victim and two of the suspects were inside Texas Chicken and Burgers at 521 Ocean Ave. around 7:30 p.m. on March 1 when the man offered to help cover pair’s bill, police said.

But the exchange turned into an argument before the suspects attacked the man, punching him and using his own cane to strike him, police said.

Two other suspects then came inside the restaurant and joined in on the vicious beatdown, kicking him in his head and body, according to surveillance video released by the NYPD.

The four suspects fled the eatery, leaving the victim on the floor with broken bones, bruises and cuts, police said.

Following the beating, a fifth man entered the restaurant and took the victim’s property, police said.

He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition after the assault, police added.
