Tuesday, March 7 is National Pancake Day, and in celebration of the carb-loaded breakfast favorite IHOP locations around the city are serving up free short stacks of their original buttermilk pancakes until 7 p.m. (Select locations are offering extended hours until 10 p.m.)

In exchange for your syrup-covered meal, IHOP asks that you consider making a donation to one of its partner charities. The restaurant said it hopes to raise $3.5 million this year.
