BROOKLYN — A 19-year-old man was fatally shot in the head in a stairwell of a Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment building Tuesday morning, NYPD officials said.
Javon Craig, 19, was gunned down about five minutes after midnight on the first floor of 1605 Fulton St., near Marcus Garvey Boulevard, police said.
Craig, who lived nearby on Halsey Street, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The circumstances weren't immediately clear and there were no immediate arrests, police said.
