WILLIAMSBURG — Brooklyn bookworms rejoice!
The longtime Union Square bookstore Strand will bring a pop-up shop to the neighborhood this spring, its owners said.
Each weekend from March 11 through April 16, the shop will open its doors inside the sprawling Artists and Fleas market at 70 North Seventh St.
The shop will feature contemporary fiction, used and bargain books, as well as Strand merchandise, a spokeswoman said.
It's the first time that Strand — which has been in business since 1927 and boasts of 18 miles of books at its flagship Broadway store — will bring its books to Brooklyn, the company said.
Last year, it hosted a pop-up shop in Times Square.
