TIMES SQUARE — A selection of the Strand's 18 miles of books have made it to Times Square.
On Thursday, the East Village bookstore set up a pop-up shop at the Crossroads of the World, in a pedestrian plaza near West 44th Street and Broadway.
Passersby can pick up the Strand’s best-selling fiction and nonfiction offerings, tote bags, postcards and other literary wares at the stand, which will be open seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. until October 31.
Titles currently on sale include Elena Ferrante’s "My Brilliant Friend," Ta-Nehisi Coates’ "Between the World and Me" and Rupi Kaur’s "Milk and Honey."
