Fans of director Baz Luhrmann's Netflix series "The Get Down" will not have to wait much longer for new episodes.

Netflix released a teaser trailer Thursday for part II of the series, and while it does not contain many details about what viewers can expect to happen to the characters, it does announce that April 7 will be the return date.

The series focuses on the creation of music genres such as hip-hop and disco in 1970s New York, paying particularly close attention to a group of teenagers from the South Bronx.

Part I came out in August and featured plenty of flashy costumes and musical numbers, as one can expect from Luhrmann. From the looks of the trailer, part II will keep this up and see the teens attempt to take their music "from minor to major league."

Also, there will be at least one pair of gold pants. And who doesn't love gold pants?
