Subway Dancers Beat Man For Not Moving During Their Routine, NYPD Says

BROOKLYN —Subway dancers beat a man on the A train because he refused to get out of the way during their performance in East New York, NYPD officials said.

The 40-year-old victim was riding the subway with his 26-year-old girlfriend about 1:20 p.m. Wednesday when the four male dancers got on the train, police said.

But the straphanger refused to budge when their routine moved his way, so the dancers punched him in the face, cutting his cheek and forehead, police said.

His girlfriend tried to intervene but the dancers shoved her away, police said.

The attackers fled at the Euclid Avenue station and weren't immediately arrested, police said.
