If you're looking for some incentive to get through a long week at work, how about a tequila-fueled happy hour?

Wednesday is National Margarita Day, which makes it the perfect time to sample the city's offerings from classic lime to inventive fruit flavors.

Here are six places in New York City for you to enjoy some tangy, limey goodness this National Margarita Day:

Maya, 1191 First Ave, Upper East Side

Known for its bottomless margarita brunch ($45), this Upper East Side restaurant features $7 margaritas on its happy hours menu. Choose from traditional, the tamarind-flavored Maya Margarita, or mango, strawberry, blood orange or passion fruit concoction.

The Skylark, 200 W. 39th St., 30th Floor, Midtown

Soak in the views of the Hudson River, Times Square and the Empire State Building while sipping on a Rio Verde Margarita ($18). It's got a kick courtesy of Ancho Reyes Verde Chili Liquor and is garnished with a grilled tomatillo and cilantro.

Rosa Mexicano, Various locations in Manhattan

The Mexican restaurant chain with five locations in New York City boasts a menu of agave cocktails as well as its "Margarita Al Gusto" which lets drinkers choose their brand of spirits and mixes it with agave nectar and hand-squeezed lime juice.

Dos Caminos, Various locations in Manhattan

All of Dos Caminos' locations will be serving up margaritas along with prizes, giveaways and more from visiting liquor representatives. Frozen margaritas start at $12 and go up to a whopping $45 for The Millionaire, which is made with Don Julio 1942 and Grand Marnier 100.

Alma, 187 Columbia St., Columbia Street Waterfront District

A rooftop hot spot with views of Lower Manhattan, this Mexican spot gives margarita lovers choice. You can take a chance on the frozen margarita of the day ($12) or sip on a refreshing cucumber margarita featuring cucumber infused tequila ($11). The rooftop opens depending on the weather, so hope for these unseasonably warm February days to continue.

Mezcaleria La Milagrosa, 149 Havemeyer St., Williamsburg

You're probably not getting into this "clandestine agave bar and listening room" unless you already have a reservation. That's because the bar, which is accessed through the freezer of La Milagrosa Deli, has only got 25 seats with standing room to accommodate 40 to 50 people. (There are another eight seats available at La Milagrosa Deli's counter.) If you do manage to snag a spot, try the Margarita Jamaica with mezcal, infused hibiscus tea, Cointreau, orange bitters and fresh lime for a surprisingly reasonable (for New York) $11.

Dallas BBQ, Multiple Locations

Let us not forget the fishbowl-sized frozen margaritas (which look more like slushies from 7-11) that keep customers happy at this chain eatery with sites all over the city. You may not win points from agave snobs, but sometimes you just want to drink something that's larger than your head. Prices range from $7.99 to $9.99 for "Texas" size.
