BEDFORD PARK — The second floor of a Bronx parking garage collapsed Sunday, damaging cars that were inside the building, according to the Fire Department.

The collapse happened at 3000 Jerome Ave. around 6 a.m. Although cars were damaged when the second floor fell onto the first, no one were hurt, the FDNY said.

The cause of the collapse is still under investigation, according to the Department of Buildings.

The building, owned by Fordec Realty Corp., has two open DOB violations. One is from December 2011 for work without a permit and one is from January 2014 for failing to file a certificate of correction.
