THE BRONX — Thieves hit a man on the back of the head with a baseball bat before stealing his cellphone and $170 at Westchester Square, NYPD officials said.

The muggers, one of whom can be seen in police footage released Tuesday, grabbed the 30-year-old victim and hit him in the head near East 194th Street and Westchester Avenue about 2:15 a.m. on Feb. 8, police said.

They stole his Samsung Galaxy phone and cash, police said.

The victim was treated at Jacobi Medical Center.

The suspects are in their early 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weigh roughly 160 pounds, police said.

Video shows one of them in a Mets hat walking into a bodega and taking what appears to be a straw.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
