Get the lady some caw-fee.
Actor Priyanka Chopra showed her NYC roots on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" last week by showing off a Queens accent — revealing that long before she was a superstar in India, she was a high school student in Flushing.
Colbert asked the "Quantico" star about her time in the U.S., including spending her high school years in Flushing.
"After I came back from America to India, I had a really American accent... I would be like, 'Can I have some caw-fee?'" she said, calling it "embarrassing."
Chopra — who is a major star in India, where she's made 50 movies — also opened up about her dislike of the term "Bollywood" to describe the Indian movie industry, as well as her status as an immigrant working on a visa in the U.S., following President Donald Trump's executive order banning travel for people from seven predominantly Muslim countries.
