THE BRONX — Police have released a video of a suspect police say pushed a man into the path of a subway, causing his leg to be amputated.
The attacker pushed the 43-year-old man onto the tracks at the East 170th Street stop just before the train pulled into the station about 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, the NYPD said.
The victim was hit by the train and later had his left leg removed below the knee, officials said.
The suspect was wearing black and white Adidas sneakers as well as a green skullcap and a green jacket, police said.
