BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Two men forced their way into a Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment, robbing its residents at knifepoint and taking off with jewelry and cellphones, police said.

The thieves followed a 24-year-old man inside his building near Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue around 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 27, according to officials.

When the man opened the door to his apartment, the duo forced themselves inside, police said.

The victim’s three roommates were home at the time, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

One of the suspects waved a knife as they demanded money from the group, according to officials.

The men got away with two cellphones, two bracelets, two rings and a necklace valued at approximately $3,500, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

No injuries were reported.

Police released video of the suspects Tuesday following the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
