You could take a romantic getaway this Valentine's Day — a boozy day at an upstate winery, a farm-to-table meal at Blue Hill Stone Barn, a relaxed weekend at a Catskill inn — or you could head directly to New York City's biggest tourist destination to renew your wedding vows amid costumed characters, desnudas and CD peddlers. (Because there's no setting more likely to rekindle your passion than Times Square, right?)

For lovers far less jaded than us, the Times Square Alliance is hosting its annual vow renewal ceremony on the red glass steps in Father Duffy Square on Feb. 14.

"We invite couples of all ages and backgrounds to profess their love once again," the event's registration page reads. "A special invitation is extended to lovebirds whose kisses bridge boundaries, be they religious, political, racial, or national, as well as couples in wedding attire."

The 6 p.m. ceremony will overlook an installation that converts 2015 census data on foreign-born New Yorkers into art — and a heart when viewed from a particular angle. Organizers will drop "official Times Square confetti" after couples have re-pledged their lifelong devotion, according to a release from the Alliance.

Last Valentine's Day, 193 couples participated in the event, an Alliance spokesman said.

The nonprofit group is also inviting couples who want to get engaged or hitched in Times Square on Feb. 14 to register for a custom proposal or wedding.
