JACKSON HEIGHTS — Parents and guardians with questions about the city's Gifted and Talented program can attend a neighborhood forum this Wednesday.
Community members are hosting the forum at the Community United Methodist Church, at 81-10 35th Ave., from 7 until 8:30 p.m.
Dr. Allison Roda, an educator and the author of "Inequality in Gifted and Talented Programs," will be at the forum for a conversation on the issues still facing the Department of Education's programs.
Testing for G&T programs begins in January, with test results sent out in April, officials said.
