EAST HARLEM — A man randomly started an argument with a teen then slashed his victim across the face, the NYPD said.

The 19-year-old was walking near East 120th Street and Park Avenue on Jan. 15 around 2 p.m. when an unknown passerby started arguing with him, police said.

The fight escalated and the man pulled out an old-fashioned razor blade and slashed the teen on the left side of his face, causing a roughly four inch cut, police said.

The teen ran to the uptown 2 train and took it to Harlem Hospital where he was treated for his injuries, police said.

The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.
