64-Year-Old Woman Punched During Argument Over Seat on E Train, Police Say

JACKSON HEIGHTS — A 64-year-old woman was punched multiple times in the face after getting into an argument over a seat on an E train near the Roosevelt Avenue station, police said.

The victim and an approximately 30-year-old woman fought over the seat Tuesday at around 7 p.m., the NYPD said. 

The suspect then started punching the 64-year-old in the face repeatedly, police said.

It's not clear if the suspect stayed on the train after the attack or fled. An NYPD spokeswoman could not say if the victim was hospitalized for her injuries.
