Teen Car Thieves Crash Into 17 Parked Cars, Causing $60K in Damage: NYPD

THE BRONX — A trio of teens broke into several cars at a Bedford Park parking garage and crashed them into more than a dozen other parked cars, causing $60,000 worth of damage, NYPD officials said.

The boys, who can be seen in police footage released Monday, got into the "unsecured" vehicles in the Botanical Square Garden garage at 2960 Webster Ave., near Bedford Park Boulevard, about 5 p.m. and started driving them around, police said.

The teens, described as between 14 and 17, hit 17 cars by the end of their joy riding, police said.

Police released footage of of them getting into an elevator.

One wore a light hoodie with blue jeans and dark sneakers, while another wore a blue hoodie, blue pants and black sneakers and the third wore a dark jacket, light pants and black sneakers, police said.
