CROWN HEIGHTS — Police are looking for a man who punched a 66-year-old MTA bus driver in the face after the two got in an argument.

The NYPD said the suspect tried to get on a B48 bus at Franklin Avenue and Eastern Parkway just before 3:00 p.m. on Oct. 27 when he had a dispute with the driver.

The suspect then punched the driver in the face and fled on foot. The driver was taken to Kings County Hospital for his injuries, police said.

This Wednesday, the police department released a photo of the suspect taken from surveillance footage outside the bus wearing a dark hoodie with white writing on the front and a baseball cap. The police say the suspect is between 17 and 20 years old.

Assaulting an MTA employee is a felony that could lead to a sentence of up to seven years in prison, according to the agency.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at (800) 577-TIPS or for Spanish (888) 57-PISTA (74782).
