ELMHURST — Police are looking for a pair of armed robbers who have hit up at least three cellphone stores across Queens — shooting at a store employee after one of the robberies and tying up employees and customers in another.

The two men first robbed a Sprint store at 46-31 Greenpoint Ave. in Sunnyside on Sunday, Nov. 20, before 1 p.m., police said.

One man flashed a gun and both demanded cash and merchandise from a 22-year-old female employee, taking 45 iPhones and $3,500, police said. They fled north on 47th Street.

At 5:35 p.m on Dec. 3 they robbed a T-Mobile at 86-16 Queens Blvd., where one of the suspects shot at a store employee who chased after them, police said. No one was injured.

On Dec. 21, at around 12:15 p.m., they entered a Sprint store at 37-50 Junction Blvd. in Jackson Heights, brandishing a gun, according to police.

They forced two store employees and two customers to the back of the store and bound them with tape, according to police.

The robbers took off with 218 iPhones, iPads and Samsung phones and tablets, and $800 cash from the register. They also took $1,100 in cash from two customers and $30 from a store employee, the police said.

The victims were not treated for any injuries.

The first suspect was described as standing approximately 5-foot-10 with a "Caesar"-style haircut, police said.

The second suspect was described as standing approximately 6-foot-2 and weighing 250 pounds, with dreadlocks, police said.

If anyone has information about this robbery, please call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS or 1-88-57-PIST for Spanish.
