If going to the movies wasn't something you did enough of in 2016, here's your chance to catch up on some of the year's most critically-acclaimed flicks.

The Museum of the Moving Image will be showing 10 of its picks for best film during its Curators' Choice series, with screenings taking place from Dec. 30 to Jan. 8.

The series is meant to showcase "some of the best and most adventurous films" from 2016, chosen by David Schwartz and Eric Hynes, two of the museum's curators.

Selections include "The Lobster," a sci-fi flick starring Colin Farrell and John C. Reilly, the five-hour Japanese comedy "Happy Hour" and "Everybody Wants Some!!" from acclaimed director Richard Linklater, a 1970s-based comedy billed as the "spiritual sequel" to his earlier classic "Dazed and Confused," according to a press release.

Some screenings will include appearances from those who worked on the films, including the O.J. Simpson documentary "O.J.: Made in America" which will be shown on Jan. 8 with director Ezra Edelman and producer Caroline Waterlow in attendance.

"This is a great mix of fiction and documentary films," Schwartz said in a statement about the lineup. "We're pleased to have an eclectic international selection."

Tickets to each screening cost $15 and include admission to the museum.
