The Empire State Building is feeling the holiday spirit.

The 102-story skyscraper's lights will shine red and green Monday night in honor of Christmas, reminding New Yorkers everywhere that they better buy those last-minute gifts.

The iconic high-rise will keep its holiday hue until Saturday, Dec. 24, when it will shine red, green, blue and white to celebrate both Christmas Eve and the first day of Hannukah. The festive displays will last through Jan. 6.

The Empire State Building is also premiering its holiday music-to-light show — set to Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" — at 7 p.m. Monday. (“I can see the Empire State Building from my apartment, and it is one of my favorite buildings in the world,” claims the pop star in a press release from the Empire State Realty Trust.)

You can tune in to Z100, 103.5 KTU and 106.7 Lite FM to listen to Carey's timeless song synced up to the light show by designer Marc Brickman, who's worked for such artists as Pink Floyd and Bruce Springsteen. The sync-up will happen each night at 7 p.m. through Dec. 25.
