Political drama will take over several East Village streets all day Wednesday as CBS' "Madam Secretary" films in the neighborhood.

The TV drama, starring Téa Leoni as tough Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord, will film across a cluster of neighborhood streets starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday and wrapping at 10 p.m., according to notices posted by CBS along corresponding streets paired with "No Parking" signs.

Filming will take place along East Third Street between Second and First avenues, Second Avenue between East Third and Fourth Streets, East Fourth Street between Bowery and First Avenue, and on East Fifth Street between Bowery and Second Avenue, according to the fliers.

The notices warn that tow trucks will roll up the streets at 10 p.m. Tuesday night to clear the way for production vehicles, but note that any unused parking will be given "back to the public."

Signs were posted along several East Village streets Tuesday to notify residents of the filming. (DNAinfo/Allegra Hobbs)
