NEW YORK CITY — A city employee with the Parks Department was arrested Friday after police said they found guns and drugs inside his Brooklyn home.

Officers executing a search warrant at the Breuklen Houses apartment of Charles McRae, 53, found two handguns along with bags of marijuana, pills, thousands of dollars in cash and forged licensed plates, police said.

McRae was arrested and hit with more than a dozen charges, including criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and forgery, police said.
