COBBLE HILL — A woman busted for trying to steal beauty products from a cosmetics shop last month was arrested again for throwing a fiberglass display case at another woman inside the American Apparel on Court Street after the two got into an argument, police said.

Lakia English, 20, and the victim started fighting inside the store, at 112 Court St., around 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 2, according to a police report.

English turned violent and threw the fiberglass display case at the victim, bruising her shoulder, according to a criminal complaint.

The cause of the argument was unknown.

A manager at the store declined to comment.

English was charged with assault, menacing, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon.

She is also facing charges for stealing $275 worth of beauty products from the Sephora at 210 Joralemon St. on Nov. 10, prosecutors said.

She is accused of trying to steal lipstick, lip gloss, eyebrow makeup, lip liners and a skin cleansing machine, then punching and scratching a store employee who tried to confront her, according to a criminal complaint.

A manager at Sephora declined to comment.

English was released without bail and is due back in court for both cases on Feb. 2.

Her attorney declined to comment.

In 2012, English was reported missing after she was seen leaving a Fort Greene building, police said.

Other notable crimes from the 84th Precinct include:

► A thief or thieves stole a $5,000 Rolex watch and a $5,000 diamond bracelet from a Hoyt Street apartment sometime between 5 p.m on Oct. 28 and 2 p.m. on Nov. 26 while there were workers in the apartment, police said.

► A teen punched a 14-year-old in the face after the victim refused to hand over his money when the attacker and a friend told him to “run out your pocket” inside the Moon Cafe deli at 496 Atlantic Ave. at 7:10 p.m. on Dec. 3, police said.

The deli’s owner, Chaudry Ahmad, said the 14-year-old and another boy had come into the dei to hide from the other teens. The suspects fled eastbound on Atlantic Avenue after Ahmad yelled at them.
