BOERUM HILL — A woman tried to set her ex-boyfriend on fire using rubbing alcohol and a lighter after the two got into a fight, police said.

Simone Young, 56, showed up at her ex-boyfriend’s apartment on Atlantic Avenue near Third Avenue around 10 a.m. on Dec. 3 after drinking all night, the NYPD said.

The two got into an argument before Young grabbed a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a lighter and tried to set him ablaze, police said.

During the altercation, Young also punched and scratched him several times, police added.

Prosecutors said she violated an October 2015 restraining order mandating that she stay away from her ex's apartment.

Young was hit with several charges, including reckless endangerment, criminal contempt, menacing, attempted assault and harassment, prosecutors said. She was released without bail and is due back in court on Jan. 11.

Young’s attorney did not immediately returned requests for comment.
