BOERUM HILL — You can call on them.

A group of good Samaritans pinned down a thief who tried to run off with a fellow rider's cellphone inside a subway station, police said.

The 31-year-old victim was sitting inside a southbound F train at the Bergen Street station around 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 3 when the train’s doors opened and Tairyi Muhammad, 23, grabbed her iPhone 6s and took off, police said.

The victim chased Muhammad out of the train and onto the subway platform, where other commuters stopped him and pinned him to the ground until police arrived, the NYPD said.

Police arrested Muhammad and found three other phones in his backpack, one of which had been reported stolen, the report said.

He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, grand larceny and petit larceny, court records show.

Muhammad is being held on $5,000 bond and is due back in court on Dec. 9.

His attorney did not immediately respond to request for comment.
