BROOKLYN — A woman was fatally shot in the back in East New York's Pink Houses Wednesday morning, NYPD officials said.
Salaya Figueroa, 27, was gunned down about 30 minutes after midnight in front of 1308 Loring Ave., near Eldert Lane, police said.
Figueroa, who lived about a block away on Stanley Avenue, was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital, police said.
There were no immediate arrests, police said.
It wasn't immediately clear what sparked the shooting, police said.
