MANHATTAN — A Florida man was struck in the hip by a stray bullet in a parking garage near Penn Station Sunday night, police said.

The 29-year-old man was struck around 11:10 p.m. Sunday at Meyer’s Parking on East 31st Street near Eighth Avenue, according to police.

The unidentified victim was rushed to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital and is expected to survive his injuries, police said.

The cause of the shooting was unclear. An employee at the parking garage told the New York Daily News that about 15 bullets were fired by the shooter, though police did not confirm it.

An employee at the garage told DNAinfo New York on Monday that he did not have any information on the shooting.

No arrests had been made as of Monday night, according to police.
