COLUMBUS CIRCLE — Swastikas and a series of racist, homophobic and anti-Obama statements were found scrawled on the walls and door of a 1 train car over the weekend, the NYPD said.

The graffiti — which included "white power" and “homosexuality is a white man’s disease" — were discovered by an elderly man inside a northbound 1 train car around 7:10 p.m. on Saturday, police said.

When the train's conductor searched the car at the 59th Street-Columbus Circle subway station after the man reported the vandalism, he discovered swastikas drawn in black marker on several wall displays and a train car door, the NYPD said.

Someone had also written, “Finally we have a white man in the White House,” “Pray that Obama’s daughter gets raped,” “Homosexuality is a white man’s disease,” “White women deserve breast cancer,” “Pray that Michelle Obama gets cancer” and “White power” in black marker throughout the car, police said.

The train had previously been docked at a maintenance yard at 240th Street in The Bronx, the NYPD said.

Police hadn’t arrested anyone in connection to the vandalism as of Monday.

The discovery comes amid an uptick in reported hate crimes and swastika graffiti following the election.
