MURRAY HILL — A 55-year-old man is in critical condition after he was struck by a yellow cab Friday morning, according to the NYPD.
The man was crossing East 39th Street near Lexington Avenue at about 2:55 a.m. when he was hit by a taxi traveling west, police said.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition and is expected to survive, according to authorities.
The driver of the cab remained on scene and no immediate arrests were made, they added.
