MANHATTAN — One of the two suspects charged in connection with the vicious stabbing death of a Connecticut man inside an Upper East Side apartment earlier this month has posted bail, according to the Department of Correction.

Larry Dilione, 28, has made the $300,000 bond that was set at his arraignment on charges of concealing a dead body, tampering with physical evidence and hindering prosecution for his role in the death of Hofstra graduate Joseph Comunale, according to prosecutors and the DOC website.

Investigators believe Dilione and James Rackover, 25, played a role in the killing of Comunale on Nov. 12 after a night of partying, then dumped his body in a shallow Oceanport, N.J., grave.

Comunale was stabbed 15 times and suffered a broken pelvis, according to the Monmouth County Medical Examiner’s Office.

His killers apparently tried to burn his body with gasoline to destroy evidence, according to prosecutors.

Rackover, who was taken in by a celebrity jeweler as his son, has yet to post the $300,001 bail set at his arraignment and is currently being held at the Manhattan Detention Center. He’s next due in court Dec. 12, according to the DOC.

Dilione is due back Dec. 5.
