WILLIAMSBURG — A superintendent was attacked while he was trying to kick two teens out of a vacated building, according to police and a witnesses.

The super of 120 South 4th Street, a building formerly owned by the murdered landlord Menachem Stark and vacated by the city last December for structural issues, was trying to get two teenagers to leave the property on Nov. 16, when the confrontation turned violent, according to police.

The two teens attacked the 44-year-old man after he got them outside — one used a piece of a stone and bashed him on the head, causing a gash, police said.

A bodega worker from the shop across the street who declined to give his name, said he'd witnessed the teens punching the man who collapsed to the ground. He'd rushed over to break up the fight.

"He was on the floor. He was bleeding from the side [of his face]," the worker said.

The super was rushed to Woodhull Hospital following the 4 p.m. attack, police said.

The 120 South 4th Street building has sat empty since December of 2015 when the city vacated tenants and businesses siting structural issues.

DNAinfo later reported that a whistle blowing contractor had discovered that the Department of Buildings had no plans on file for the building.

Tenants and business owners who'd just poured their savings into revamping the new spaces were forced to relocate.

Since then, layers of posters now block up the front windows and graffiti tags cover the building's top level, accessible by a the rooftop area.

A worker at Garden Management, the building property manager, didn't respond immediately to a request for comment.

No arrests had been made as of Wednesday, police confirmed.
