PROSPECT HEIGHTS — 'The Americans' are back.
The FX show, now filming its fifth season, will be turning a popular neighborhood bar, restaurant and St. Marks Avenue brownstone into sets this Tuesday, according to a public filming notice.
The spy drama will take over Sharlene’s Bar at 353 Flatbush Ave. starting at 7 a.m. on Nov. 22, a notice posted by the area’s councilwoman said. The shoot will also use interiors of a home at 106 St. Marks Ave. at 11 a.m. and inside the restaurant Piquant at 259 Flatbush Ave. at 3 p.m., according to the notice.
To accommodate the film shoot, no parking is allowed in the area starting at 10 p.m. on Monday, according to signs posted this week.

The FX series uses New York to recreate the look of 1980s Washington, D.C. and has been filming in Prospect Heights, Red Hook, Forest Hills and elsewhere in the city for years.
The show’s location manager and production designer have used the area around Columbia University and Grant Tomb as a backdrop to mimic D.C.’s monuments, they told DNAinfo last year, turned Queens into West Germany and used the Javits Center as a mock airport.
