STAPLETON — Staten Islanders busted for marijuana possession and littering can wipe the slate clean this weekend.
The Staten Island District Attorney's office will host a "Fresh Start" event Saturday to give people charged with quality-of-life offenses a chance to clear their outstanding warrant.
The event will be held in collaboration with the NYPD and the Legal Aid Society at the Central Family Life Center, 59 Wright St., from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
People charged with summonses like consumption of alcohol in public, disorderly conduct, trespassing, loitering, spitting, unleashed dogs and more can join the meeting to clear their records, the DA said.
