PROSPECT HEIGHTS — Police are looking for help identifying two men wanted for punching a 19-year-old man, then threatening him with a gun on Lincoln Place last month.

The victim was standing outside 285 Lincoln Pl. near Underhill Avenue in Prospect Heights before 11 a.m. on Oct. 20, police said, when the two suspects approached him and punched him several times in the face.

One of the two then pointed a handgun at the 19-year-old, but did not fire, the NYPD said. The pair fled on foot after the assault.

The police department on Monday released photos taken from surveillance footage of the suspects which show the face of one of the suspects and an image of the gun-toting suspect pointing the firearm at the victim.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at (800) 577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, (888) 57-PISTA (74782).
