CRIME BLOTTER: $10K in Watches, Jewelry Stolen From Boerum Hill Home

BOERUM HILL — An $8,000 Rolex and several other watches, jewelry and documents were stolen from a Boerum Hill apartment last week, police said.

The victim, a 32-year-old man, left his Bergen Street home at about 9 a.m. on Nov. 1 and returned the same day at 4:30 p.m. to find the valuables missing, according to the police report.

A total of $10,375 in watches, jewelry and other property was stolen, including $450 in cufflinks, women's jewelry worth $125, a U.S. passport and a Social Security card. Some of the pilfered watch brands included a $400 Raymond Weil and a Tissot worth $100, police said.

Other notables crimes in the 84th Precinct, according to police, include: 

► A 2004 Acura MDX parked on State Street near Nevins Street was stolen between Oct. 24 and Oct. 31. The victim, a 31-year-old woman, said she was in possession of the only set of keys, according to the report.
