Wu-Tang Clan fans are the unexpected winners of Donald Trump's election.
"Pharma bro" Martin Shkreli honored a commitment to broadcast part of his exclusive Wu-Tang Clan album “Once Upon a Time in Shaolin” — the only existing copy of which he bought for $2 million — if Trump became President-Elect.
The widely-detested millionaire, who is facing federal charges for running an $11 million Ponzi scheme, smirked and bobbed his head while he played clips from what he said were the album's first two tracks.
“I actually have a contract with the Wu-Tang Clan where I’m not allowed to do this,” Shkreli said during the stream.
“Obviously I own the music and I bought it and I paid a lot of money for it. In many ways the contract shouldn’t matter that much, but I am a man of my word.”
While Shkreli endorsed Trump, a Bernie Sanders bumper sticker could be seen on an amp behind him.
“The fact that he came out with it I think is, that he came out with the victory, is fantastic,” he said. “But I wasn’t prepared in any way, shape or form.”
Hillary Clinton had taken aim at Shkreli over his AIDS medication price-gouging.
During a February campaign event she called him “like the worst bad date you can imagine.”
