TIMES SQUARE — Hillary Clinton's campaign has scrapped plans for a celebratory fireworks display over the Hudson River on election night, NYPD officials said at a press conference Monday.
"They do have a permit for fireworks but, at this point, we believe fireworks is canceled," NYPD Chief of Intelligence Tommy Galati said.
Galati said he could not say why the plans changed.
The Clinton campaign did not immediately respond to an email seeking additional information.
