BOERUM HILL — Off-price department store giant Marshalls is opening its fifth Brooklyn store next week on Atlantic Avenue, a company spokeswoman said.
The 22,000 square-foot shop is slated to open at 241 Atlantic Ave. near Boerum Place on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 8 a.m.
Marshalls has hundreds of shops across the country, including more than a dozen in New York City. It carries discounted clothing and accessories for men, women and children as well as home and kitchen decor.
Locals may see movers in the area with boxes that will eventually form a "large-scale art installation made up of moving boxes" in front of the new shop.
The chain will make a $5,000 donation to Little Essentials when it opens.
