CHELSEA — A man's face was fractured by an attacker hurling anti-gay slurs during a fight at 14th Street and Eighth Avenue, the NYPD said.
The 32-year-old victim was with a 28-year-old man near the busy intersection around 4:15 a.m. on Oct. 30 when another man yelled homophobic slurs and got into a fight with the pair, police said.
The scuffle left the 32-year-old with a fracture to his face and left the 28-year-old with a hand injury, the NYPD said.
The attacker then fled north on Eighth Avenue, the NYPD said.
Both victims were transported to Bellevue Hospital, where they were in fair condition, police said.
The suspect was described as between 21 and 30 years old, weighing between 180 and 190 pounds, standing 5-foot-11-inches tall and last seen wearing a gray baseball cap, police said.
