EAST ELMHURST — The unlicensed driver who ran over a stroller, killing an 8-month-old baby inside, was released Friday without bail, according to the Queens District Attorney's office.

Armando Morales-Rodriguez, 44, backed a white van into Navraj Raju's stroller as the boy was being pushed by his mom, Daljit Kaur, near 92-20 Astoria Blvd. on Friday morning, police said.

Raju was knocked out of the stroller and Morales-Rodriguez kept driving, running him over with his back tire, according to witnesses.

Navraj Raju was hit by Armando Morales-Rodriguez as he was pushed in his stroller by his mom on Astoria Boulevard Friday.

He got out of his van after he hit the baby, surveillance footage shows, and later told police he was driving the vehicle, according to the criminal complaint.

Morales-Rodriguez didn't have a valid driver's license and was arraigned Friday for driving without a license.

Judge Ernest Hart let him out without bail, and he's due back in court Dec. 5, according to the DA — who said they are still investigating the incident and further charges could be filed.
