UPPER WEST SIDE — The neighborhood has plenty of sports bars, but it's also a hub for spots boasting lengthy craft beer lists.
In its survey of nearly 300 bars across the city, the analytics company Datascope ranked the Upper West Side among the top 10 neighborhoods with the best beer selections.
DNAinfo dug into that claim, finding the best spots across the neighborhood to have a beer that you may not be able to find at your local supermarket or Duane Reade.
West End Hall is a place to celebrate late at night and drink craft beer.
2756 Broadway between 105th and 106th streets
West End Hall opened in July of 2015 in the space that formerly held Five Lamps Tavern. With a backyard and a beer-hall–style interior, West End Hall has plenty of room to bring a crowd for a birthday celebration or a late night gathering. The bar is open until 3 a.m. on weekends.
The beer list is ample, with 20 varieties on draft and another 46 in bottles and cans.
