ELMHURST — A man threatened to slap a woman while riding the E train, then flashed a gun when she moved to another part of the train, police said.
A 33-year-old woman was on a Manhattan-bound E train Friday, Oct. 14 at around 8:40 a.m. near Broadway and Roosevelt Avenue when a man sat down next to her, police said.
The man, dressed in a black hat, black pants and a green jacket, threatened to slap her, according to the NYPD.
After she moved to another part of the train to avoid him, he followed her, lifted his shirt and showed the handle of a firearm, police said.
She got off at the 74th Street-Jackson Heights station and the man stayed on the train.
