THE BRONX — A Brooklyn man was killed in a Morrisania hit-and-run Monday night, police said.

David Pajarito-Mendez, 38, was run over by a car near East 162nd Street and Courtlandt Avenue, at about 9:40 p.m., NYPD officials and witnesses said.

In surveillance video of the incident, Pajarito-Mendez tumbles into the street and lies there for about 45 seconds until a sedan runs him over.

Warning: Graphic video.

"I was watching 'Rocky IV' and went to the window and saw a guy wobbling like he was drunk. Then he just fell into the street. A car came about 30 seconds to a minute after. It went over him," said Victor Delgado, 55, whose apartment overlooks the scene.

"The car went over him like he was a piece of paper or a stick," Delgado said.

About eight seconds later, an SUV turned onto the street and hit Pajarito-Mendez, video shows.

"It dragged him. The cops were here immediately. They put a white sheet over him," police said.

Pajarito-Mendez, who lived in Brighton Beach, suffered injuries to his head and body and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

There were no immediate arrests, police said.
