HARLEM — A woman was slashed in the face by a gang member during an argument, police said.

The 23-year-old woman was walking with a friend near East 115th Street and Madison Avenue on Aug. 19 around 7 p.m. when she got into an argument with a man police identified as a member of the Bloods gang.

The man pulled out a box cutter and slashed the victim in the face, the NYPD said.

The victim was sent to Mount Sinai Hospital for treatment, police said.

The suspect is described as 38 years  old, 5-foot-11 and about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, tan work boots and jeans.
